Located at the junction of the Ash River, Kabetogama and Namakan Lakes.
Bar and Restaurant will accommodate our group for Friday night 'pot luck'. The Lodge serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Cabins:
The Long House: This very large cabin has 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths, quarter bathrooms, large kitchen and a living area. Sleeps 16 people, 12 individual beds.
The Aspen Lodge: This native aspen log cabin has 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths, kitchen, living room. Sleeps up to 17. 10 individual beds.
Big Pine Lodge: Log building has four condos, with 2 bedrooms, full bath, kitchenette and a living area. Sleeps 5
Riverside: This cabin features a stone fireplace, deck, 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a large kitchen-living room area. Sleeps up to 14 people with 10 individual beds.
The Overlook Cabin: This log cabin has 2 bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen-living room combination.
Shade Tree and Pine: 2 & 3 bedroom cabins. Each cabin has a bathroom and kitchen-living room combination.
Overnighter to Cass Lake
An overnighter to the Palace Casino in Cass Lake would be an easy short ride and fun spot for 1 night. We have that planned for Jan. 3-4 or 4-5. If you are interested please call Paul (832-3541). This will need to be planned before the next newsletter.
Christmas Party
Party is at Richie's Marcell Inn, Dec. 8 at 4 p.m. The meal will be chicken, ham, potatoes, salad, desert, and relish tray for $12.50 which includes tax and tip. Landowners pay nothing! All those planning to attend, please clip off the portion at the bottom of the newsletter and return it with payment by December 3 so we can get an accurate head count and let Richie's know hoe many to expect. This will be in the back room at Richie's and there will be door prizes.

Snowmobile Overnighter
The January "Overnighter" is set for the Ash Trail Lodge. Those that are riding will leave from the Triple J Restaurant in Bigfork at 9 o'clock sharp, on Friday, Jan. 25th. If you are planning on breakfast there, please arrive earlier to be finished and ready to go at 9 o'clock. Those that are driving a car, please try and arrive at the lodge by 5 o'clock. Directions---go north of Orr on Hwy 53. Turn right on Ash River Trail (CO RD 129)---follow it to the end about 16 mi. to the Ash Trail Lodge.
Bring---1.Your own personal towels 2. "A dish or snack to share", all cabins have a kitchen. 3. What you wish to drink.

Joyce Estate Ride
Our annual Joyce Estate Trail Ride is planned for Sunday, Feb. 10, with Gene Wolff your wagon master. Meet at the clubhouse at 8:30 a.m.
Annual 38er's/Snowdrifters Winter Picnic
Mark your calendars for the second annual 38er's/Snowdrifters winter picnic March 3 at 2 p.m. at the Laurentian Divide Wayside. This years'event will be hosted by the Marcell Snowdrifters. This was a very fun time last year and you can either ride your sled or drive your auto.
The February meeting will be held on February 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the clubhouse.

| ISHOF Induction |
International Snowmobile Hall of Fame to Induct Four.
The weekend of February 23, 2001, the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame (ISHOF) will be holding its twelfth induction ceremony, to recognize these very deserving individuals from the snowmobile community for their dedication and accomplishments to the sport of snowmobiling.
It's an honor to name Dick and Anne Melick, John and Rita Ham, John M. Mitchel, and Richard and Audrey Decker, joining the other 44 members who have received this prestigious honor.
Induction ceremonies and banquet will take place at the Rainbow Inn, Grand Rapids, Minnesota, February 24, 2001. In addition to the banquet and ceremony, the weekend will be filled with snowmobile related activities.
One of North America’s Largest On-the-Snow Grooming Demonstrations co-sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and ISHOF will be held at Sugar Hill Recreation Center, south of Grand Rapids on Friday and Saturday, February 23rd and 24th. Displayed will be trail groomers and drags, along with grooming implements for ski trails.
The Antique Snowmobile Club of America (ASCOA) and the Vintage Snowmobile Club of America (VSCA) will have a display of these fine snow machines from yesteryear. The public is being asked to join in a short ride escorted by the local sheriff's snowmobile patrol.
The induction weekend will afford an opportunity to enjoy the City of Grand Rapids and enjoy the many miles of Minnesota snowmobile trails.
